CO2 Sense Support

 

    

We are extremely pleased to announce a Business Support Grant from CO2 Sense of £7,000 to enable us to purchase two second-hand vehicles (one chilled and one frozen) in order to increase the amount of surplus product we divert from landfill and redistribute into needy communities across South and East Yorkshire.

Jan Phillips, CO2 Sense Programme Support Officer visited our site at Factory Foods in Rotherham to look at the work we do. The photo shows one of the vehicles we have recently purchased with part of the grant (CO2 Sense sponsor signage currently on order).

These new vehicles will help Food AWARE to move forward with confidence and to help many more deprived and vulnerable people with good, surplus food whilst also caring for the environment and meeting CO2 Sense's Reduced CO2 Emissions Targets over the next two years.
